EMU Vice Rector International Relations and Recruitment Office Approves NIGERIAN WEEK 2016 Proposal

Yesterday, Thursday 25th August, 2016, the leadership of the Nigerian Students Society EMU paid a visit to the office of the Vice Rector in charge of International Office to present the proposal for the NIGERIAN WEEK 2016 scheduled to hold in October.

The NSS Acting President, Comrade Ajiboro Temitope presented the proposal by first highlighting the aims and objectives of the various events contained in the proposal and further explained the content of the proposal.

Reacting to the proposal, the Vice Rector commended the leadership of the NSS for such a comprehensive proposal and advised that all activities involving powerful sound and lighting system be held at the EMU Cultural Center for better output.

At the end of the meeting, the proposal was fully approved after minor deliberations were made.

In addition, the Vice Rector also approved the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS) TURKISH ZONE INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION to mark the 56th Independence of our dear Country Nigeria scheduled to hold on the 1st October, 2016 at the Eastern Mediterranean University, the Vice Rector further advised NANS Officials present at the meeting to take publicity very seriously as students (Old and New) will just be returning back on campus at the time of the October 1st Event.
