2014 Presidential Elections

The 2014 NSS Elections was the 9th Annual Elections held by the International Office of the University.  The elections was a Four way contest between:

 Incumbent President Samuel Omale

Former Presidential Hopeful Comrade Salim Hamza

Incumbent IT Director Jubril Arogundade and

Student Political Activist Comrade Oshioks Philip

This election marked the beginnining of poltical heatups in NSS Elections, President Omale had ran one of the most historic presidencies in NSS History creating a pathway to so many precedents today, but by mid 2014 scandals and disaggrements rocked his Cabinet based on abuse of power and misappropraition of Society funds, by October 2014 Director Jubril had declared himself a candidate for the presidency, This election was the first time a sitting President sought another term in Office .                                                                                                                              President Samuel Omale , the Incumbent President ran for a Second Term.

President Samuel had  so many sucesses to his administration but lost public trust which led to him loosing the presidency, by Late November 2014 President Samuel joined in helping then President-Elect Salim Hamza assume the Office of President.
