2017 Presidential Elections

The 2017 NSS Elections was the 12th Annual Elections held by the International Office of the University. Another Round of contentious elections filled with political tension was a heated race between, NSS Director of Socials Nwachukwu Emeka (NI Emeka) and Businessman Entrepreneur Zachary Aiji Audu, this election was so so undecisive up until election day with so many factions of Nigerian Students supporting their various candidate as it recorded the closest election win in NSS History.                                                                     President Jerry Sambe, the Incumbent President declined to run for a Second Term.

With a failed attempt at impeaching Jerry Sambe and a divided Cabinet, Social Director Nwachukwu Emeka decided to contest the seat of President. Although President Jerry had endorsed Zachary Aiji to be his successor.
