Update on International Passport Renewal and How to Travel to Nigeria For Summer

The Nigerian Embassy located at Ankara has informed us (The Nigerian Students Society EMU) that it is unfortunate that the Immigration officials have not given them date for their next visit, hence the delay in passport renewal. The Embassy is expecting the immigration officials at Ankara for the installation of the new International Passport producing machine that was sent to them by the Federal Government, this inquiries were made by the NSS President following series of requests and complains made by Students. 

In lieu of this, the Embassy has initiated an option for those that want to travel home and their passports has expired or misplaced or they have renewed but have not been brought here.

The Embassy is ready to issue "EMERGENCY TRAVEL CERTIFICATE" this document will enable you travel to Nigeria, then you can collect or renew your international passport.

REQUIREMENT TO OBTAIN EMERGENCY TRAVEL CERTIFICATE: Affected persons must complete the following requirements.

1. Old International Passport data page

2. Receipt of payment to Embassy account

3. Flight Ticket

4. Consent letter

5. Passport Photograh

Please in other to obtain this document, a US $50 equivalent MUST be paid into the Embassy account and this application should be made at least 10 working days before proposed date of travel.
